CO2BION team at 14th Panhellenic Scientific Chemical Engineering Congress

We are happy to announce CO2BION’s first conference presence, marked by an oral presentation at the 14^th Panhellenic Scientific Chemical Engineering Congress, held on May 29^th – 31^st, 2024, in Thessaloniki, Greece. Our research team member, Vasiliki (Vanessa) Savvopoulou presented the work “Characterizing the growth of Moorella thermoacetica contributing to its industrial use for CO₂ sequestration”. This first conference participation represents an important milestone for CO2BION, providing an opportunity to introduce our research direction to the broader chemical engineering community and to engage in discussions around sustainable CO₂ utilization and bioprocess development.
