CO2bion

CO2BION’s coordinator, Maria Klapa, along with CO2BION research team member Vasiliki Savvopoulou, had the opportunity to attend the 16th Metabolic Engineering Conference (ME16), held on June 15 -19, 2025, in Copenhagen, Denmark, one of the leading international events in the field of metabolic engineering. During the conference, V. Savvopoulou presented the poster “Metabolic profiling of the CO₂-assimilating anaerobe Moorella thermoacetica under biomanufacturing-relevant conditions”. Participation in a global conference such as ME16 enabled our team to engage with current developments, emerging innovations, and ongoing discussions shaping the future of sustainable biomanufacturing, while sharing our research with an international audience.
